My work mainly included editing and proofreading, updating their database and doing prospect research. But I have also been part of the production of their annual St. Louis International Film Festival.

I was primarily working in the department of non filmic objects, that included pre-cinema optical devices, but also all sorts of cameras and other objects that would be related (as camera cases, for example). My function was to clean, to identify and to catalogue 19th Century and early 20th Century’s objects, like magic lanterns, stereoscopes, posters, photographs, projectors or cameras. During that time, I was also given the chance to be part of other departments. I worked with the reparation of films to be projected as part of the monthly programme of the film institute, with the quality evaluation, colour grading and identification of film collections in the archives. A project that was very interesting to me was to scan, to digitally colour grading and to proceed to the identification of super 8 amateur films.
