About me
Experienced professional and entrepreneur, with over 25 years working in the Design industry, possessing extensive knowledge planning comprehensive projects, managing teams, suppliers and partners, supervising the initiatives to their completion.
Since 2011, I have spearheaded LifePICNIC.com, a design e-commerce platform, taking on the role of General Manager and Design Curator, overseeing all areas from concept generation, product selection, UI, customer service strategy, communication and marketing, logistics and managing powerful web analytics tools.
I co-founded and managed a multidisciplinary consultancy and design company, FPGB Consultoria e Design. In the design and communication management field I was distinguished with 2 Red Dot Design Awards and 1 Designpreis Deutschland nomination, of which I am proud of, as they were all for comprehensive projects of the portuguese pavilions developed for the recent World Exhibitions in Spain and China - Expo Zaragoza 2008 and Expo Shanghai 2010.
As a Design Manager Consultant I have worked for several organisations including industry related initiatives with several programme structures, from the recruitment process, budgeting, industry partnerships, workshops, training plans, designer and mentorship collaborations, industry specific requirements and production timeframes, product universes and market targeting, exhibition and media campaigns to entrepreneurial missions and evaluations.

Our mission is to showcase carefully selected products that reflect insight into a high standard life, aimed at a travelled, urban epicure and design lover.
At LifePICNIC.com, I have established partnerships with over 60 companies, curated the product selection of over 1000 items, implemented a complex international logistics system, defined and coordinated all online media strategies and communication plan.
I also oversee website traffic growth, website UI, statistics systems, graphic/interface design and content, and am responsible for the project’s financial supervising.
