    In early 2018, along with a close friend, I decided to start a brand new music festival. The inaugural Floosfest took place on September 8th 2018, and was a huge success, with over 200 attendees and 12 acts spanning a variety of musical genres. To make this a reality took a huge amount of dedication and hard work, including such tasks as: • Curating a realistic and eclectic line-up of local and London-based artists, and continually liaising with them to ensure they would have everything they needed on the day. • Finding a suitable venue. • Running multiple social media accounts to build hype around the festival and the artists involved. • Continually managing finances – creating budgets and sticking to them strictly. • Sourcing all items needed for the day e.g. mixing desk, speaker system, bell tent, decorations, signs, hay bales, food & drink – and making sure we were able to get them at the lowest price possible. • Creating festival artwork, posters, t-shirts and signs. We are moving to a new location for Floosfest 2019, with the aim of increasing attendance to around 500 this year.

    Ve Global is an international ad-tech/mar-tech company which provides programmatic advertising, onsite engagement tools and email remarketing solutions. As Partnerships Manager, my role is in the advertising side of the business, and includes such responsibilities as: • Handling all global partnerships with publishers, data providers and supply side software platforms. I am in regular contact with external stakeholders across the UK, EMEA, the US and APAC, including huge global companies such as Google, Nielsen and Oracle. • Negotiating (and renegotiating) commercial rates with these partners. • Assisting sales and account management with briefs, sales pitches and media planning, especially for key clients. • Devising and implementing the company’s overall strategy in terms of the publishers, data providers and software partners we work with. • Creating and maintaining beneficial relationships in accordance with this strategy. • Reporting back on the success of new and existing partnerships through analysis of performance data. • Attending industry events and generally keeping up with trends in order to keep my team abreast of the latest developments in the digital world. • Ensuring GDPR regulations are maintained with all partnerships, and intervening if there are any issues to this end.
