ESMOD offers a Bachelor in Fashion Design and Pattern Making/Draping. The professionalism of the training course is underpinned by active lessons and individual support from the ESMOD lecturers as well as by seminars and lectures given by active specialists in the fashion industry. The school’s more than 170-year tradition, the continuous modernisation of its curriculum, and the worldwide network of ESMOD fashion schools, have given ESMOD Berlin a reputation as one of the leading fashion schools of its kind. The course covers both fashion design and pattern making/draping; two skills which are fundamental to the fashion industry. ESMOD Berlin puts great emphasis on this twofold education because of the high demands from international competition.
The Foundation Diploma in Art & Design was a pivotal qualification which provided me with a transition to specialist art and design education. As part of the course, I was encouraged to become more experimental and risk-taking in my approach while developing my thinking and idea generation skills/strategies.
