- Tate Collective x Black History Month Instagram takeoverMy piece '(Black-) British: Locating History' discusses the legacy of colonialism and bends the boundaries that define the black identity. I attempt to do this through juxtaposition. For instance, with images of a white British woman wearing a 'gele' headtie, or a medieval clerk writing against the backdrop of an adiré inspired repeat pattern.
