I am currently in my final year of university, studying Comparative Literature and Linguistics, at Queen Mary University of London. I am also currently working as a Receptionist part time at Shoreditch Nails. In my spare time, I enjoy travelling, exploring London and keeping myself updated on the latest fashion trends and collections.
Some of my key responsibilities including opening and closing the salon, answering phone calls and responding to emails. I also manage bookings for the Nail Technicians and I'm in charge of ensuring that the salon in consistently fully booked. Additionally, I take payments and act as a host to the customers to ensure they have a relaxed and enjoyable experience.
I was previously the head cashier of Offspring, which dealt with ensuring customers gained the full Selfridges experience right through until the end. I have also dealt with taking customer payments, refunds and any issues with products sold. Additionally, I was responsible for putting the sales through our BOH till and solving any variances from previous days. I have also trained new cashiers on the tills.
As a Sales Associate, I dealt with customer queries daily, assisted them with sizing and give advice on fits and tailoring. End. also aims to create a clientele relationship with our customers and so I built relations with customers. I also ensure they receive excellent customer service throughout and assisted them even up to putting the transaction through. I have also had to clean the store, when the shop is closed and ensured the rails are fully replenished, ready for the next day.
In this job role, I had to deal with customers' click and collect orders. This ranged from manually picking them, to finding out where missing parcels were.
