I'm a filmmaker with extensive experience in narrative storytelling - my most recent short was selected for the BAFTA-qualifying Aesthetica film festival in 2022 and nominated in best drama - and also music and commercial shoots for both individual artists and companies, including the BBC, Royal Academy of Music and World Monuments Fund. As well as being an accomplished editor I have assisted on HETV productions for Optomen Television, on commissions for Netflix and ITV.
I excel at traditional scripted work and mainly consider myself a director who wants to assist and work alongside more experienced directors to ultimately lead shoots myself. Over the course of writing and creating my own projects, I have taught myself a lot of the roles associated with production and post to better educate myself as a director, including experience with camera, lighting, sound, grading and of course lots of editing, so that I have a good feel for some of the major departments involved in production. I’m very keen to work with more experienced people and expand the scope of my work, and consider myself a very amiable person who knows how to connect with people and an audience.
