About me
“…Breeze works as an ethnographer as much as a carver.… His work is immersed in the particularities of words and voice and culture. He restores language to us through his lettering.” EDMUND DE WAAL
Gary Breeze is first and foremost a lettercutter of stone and wood. Established in 1993 he quickly gained a reputation, not just for technically accomplished lettering and robust design, but for the innovative content of his work, which has won him numerous major public commissions: Today his work can be seen at the New Scottish Parliament, Westminster Abbey, The V&A, Christ Church Oxford and even on the 2015 fifty pence piece!
From the curation and design of exhibitions to the management and creation of award winning architectural installations, Gary has a broad range of skills to offer.
