Creative Director | Podcast Producer | Digital Comms | Web & Brand DesignBristol, United Kingdom
About me
I'm a creative director specialising in digital communications; web and brand design, and sound and podcast productions, and I'm based near Bristol in the UK. I run two boutique, values-led companies - Tawny Creative: which specialises in producing web and brand design for a range of clients, and Events in Sound: which provides facilitation and production services for podcast-led campaigns. Events in Sound is an adaptive and collaborative company dedicated to producing refreshing podcasts that help brands and organisations reach further and deeper. We also produce a range of audio-led communications such as sonic logos and audio branding, audio adverts, and sound-rich visual media. Through this work I have worked with a wealth of award winning organisations in the third sector, such as Global Witness, The Skoll Foundation, Blue Ventures and Plan International. Tawny Creative is a web and brand design agency that produces websites for social enterprises and values-driven businesses, we support and work with people and ventures that share our desire to add value to the community, enhance health and wellbeing, and care for the environment. Our key client here has been The Species Recovery Trust. I've also recently acted as a visiting lecturer on Cardiff University's Media and Journalism courses, and have delivered a podcast production course at Plymouth College of Art. All in all I'm driven to produce meaningful content and communications that inspire positive change, and work to support a community with similar values and hopes.

Approached by Dr. Barry Kerzin (The Dalai Lama's doctor) and the Altruism in Medicine Institute, Events in Sound were presented with the task of creating a strong digital product that would offer a broad audience a pocket wellbeing companion to cope with the challenges of everyday life. Unclouded brand has been created to deliver guided meditations, tips and discussions through a podcast, as well as offer listeners further paid content. In a saturated wellbeing market we've created an identity which is unique, personal and accessible, helping Dr. Kerzin spread his teachings and hopefully improve the lives of those who listen.

Beyond #MeToo | Audio Feature - The GuardianCommissioned by The Skoll Foundation for The Guardian - What’s the path forward in the social change sector? Women across the globe have banded together in a unified call for an end to sexual assault, harassment, and inequality in the workplace and beyond. Many see movements like #MeToo and Time’s Up as a watershed moment. Others point to the progress still needed. At the 2018 Skoll World Forum, survivors, activists and social entrepreneurs assessed the journey to this remarkable cultural moment and discussed how to maintain momentum to end sexual assault, harassment, and inequality—not just in the US, but around the world... https://www.theguardian.com/advertiser-content/skoll-foundation/social-entrepreneurs-and-womens-leadership-in-the-metoo-era

Boneshaker Magazine - Branded PodcastThis podcast series for independent UK publisher Boneshaker magazine was used to create a stronger digital identity, reach wider global audiences and increase sales. We did this by creating a show that would complement the approach and style of the magazine and at the same time plough its own furrow amongst other pioneering audio-storytelling podcasts to appeal to a broader audience. Bringing the human side of cycling to the fore through remarkable stories and thought pieces, all crafted with a

Deputy Chief of The Waswanipi Community Mandy Gull guides us through the lives, lands and culture of her people and their struggle, to give us an immersive, informative and compelling listen.
