As CCO of the company, I not only led the commercial team but also developed and implemented the Sales and Marketing strategy with which we ended up winning the most important Marketing Award in the country (Argentina, 2015). Some achievements included 103% increase in revenue, 15% cost reduction through incorporating new suppliers and outsourcing processes, and the twofold growth in the occupancy surpassing market average. Amongst other functions, I implemented the e-commerce site, developed the digital marketing strategy (SEO & SEM), negotiated new contracts with blue-chip B2B and B2C clients, and built strong strategic alliances with agencies and companies. By utilising inbound marketing techniques, mapping customers' journey, and measuring the results through KPI's we were able to meet company's triple bottom line goal.
I led the multicultural SMG (Argentina, Bolivia, Chile and Uruguay) IT and Commercial teams to implement the Commercial Businnes Intelligence tool in the region. Through conducting meetings and call conferences with both Global and SMG teams, I set the priorities, deadlines, and KPI’s criteria needed to fulfil project requirements. I also developed strategic analysis, using excel and internal software, for different sales managers such as forecasting sales, analysing productivity of the new sales representatives by zone and division, and implementing actions within campaigns aimed to activate demand.
Reporting directly to the CMO, I was in charge of the B2B Lead generation through database management (Excel). I was also responsible for the brand’s repositioning, using the umbrella strategy, based on group’s expertise differentiation.
I was in charge of the B2B & B2C Lead generation within the hospitality and events department. I also developed Email marketing campaigns targeting companies and traditional agencies on special dates (Emblue) and conducted market research through browsers and online travel agencies systems (O.T.A’s). Adding to these, I followed up marketing campaigns using internal software (CQR) and social media monitoring tools.
As an active member of the team in charge of the rollout of Aquarius in Buenos Aires I had to evaluate customers’ preferences combining variables such as flavour or size. I was also responsible for analysing competitors’ actions within the marketplace at the point of purchase reporting the results and observations using Microsoft office.
