Over the last 16 years working in a variety of senior and challenging roles within Digital Media and Technology industries I have acquired an extensive skill set. I’m looking to obtain a permanent position where I can utilize my expertise, ideally working for an innovative company full of passionate people who create, build and deliver fantastic digital experiences. I have a strong creative background and I've always enjoyed the initial ideation and research phase of the projects I've worked on. As account director in charge of 4 key accounts my role is to develop strong relationships, and build trust with my clients to enable me to uncover opportunities for the upsale. I have successfully done this whilst maintaining profitability, keeping client promises and delivering on time and on budget. Success to date: - Negotiated and closed £120,000 in extra revenue from a single client. - Delivered 3x retail voucher campaigns for a national food chain generating £15,000 in new business. - Negotiated an interim support agreement with 80% margin.
I was responsible for the delivery of all projects for the agency. This included various website and app builds. I worked with internal and external, developers and designers using both waterfall and agile methodologies. I kept client and management stakeholders updated on progress, whilst making sure projects were delivered to the agreed deadline and specification. Projects included: - Lumesse.com website redesign and build. After launch, I managed the BAU service support contract. - Project managed and delivered a iPad app prototype for an internal startup project for PwC. - Product owner of soon to be launched ecommerce platform; LoveGivr.com
Working directly with the CEO, from initial conception to launch, my responsibilities as Product Manager included but were not limited to the following; Managing a team of 4 (2x devs, 1x content manager, 1x marketing exec) focused on the continued development of the product, scoping, delivering and promoting new user-focused experiences. Creating and deploying a variety of marketing campaigns working with external agencies, YouTube influencers and SEO specialists to grow the user base on a bootstrapped budget. The 3 years working on this project were extremely fulfilling. I learned something new every day, and had the pleasure of working with passionate people focused on creating a great product.
Working with multiple companies on projects that included; One Thumb Mobile - Celtic Heroes (Mobile MMO Game) Over 6 months I delivered 2 projects for the fast paced gaming studio. The first was to create a holistic user acquisition and retention strategy that grew the user base of the game by 25% and retention by 60%. This was achieved by working with 3rd party advertising networks negotiating the best deals for acquisition. As well as working with game design team to create a set of enticing products and in game tutorials making it easier for new users to become more deeply engaged faster. The second, working with a remote web design agency was to produce and manage the creation and launch of a promotional website for the game (http://celtic-heroes.com/). MEF - Mobile Industry Trade Body Working with the COO I closed over £20,000 in new membership fees, and helped the wider MEF global team to organise the smooth running of the AGM, taking place at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona 2013. Refresh Mobile Ltd - Mippin App Factory I joined Refresh Mobile to develop deeper relationships and create a sales pipeline with large publishing companies. The aim was to help them strategically move their content distribution away from multiple websites to mobile apps created using the Mippin App Factory technology.
Strengthened the business partnerships in UK/IRE/APAC for French based games and app production and distribution company. Day to day I worked with tier 1 operator accounts; Orange, O2, 3UK, Telstra and Vodafone Group, and all OEM stores, to develop marketing and sales initiatives that increased sales of all mobile app and game content. Hit yearly revenue target within first 3 months of being in the business and achieved 60% revenue growth in 6 months, across 10x B2B accounts.
Developed marketing and sales strategies that successfully increased sales of mobile video and app content across all accounts. Provided market research to stakeholders on all developing areas of the industry, including ad-funded, freemium and micropayment revenue models and emerging production techniques. Manager of all OEM storefronts, and video channels including; Apple App Store, Google Play, O2, Orange UK, 3 UK, and Verizon Wireless. Managed the production and distribution of various video products including: Knight Rider (animated series based on the classic TV show) Spider-Man 3, Aardman Animations, Transformers Animated series.
During the 3 years I learned how to develop my critical thinking skills, collaborate with other artists / designers and develop some core video, animation and image manipulation skills, all of which I use in my working life.
