. Reading through submissions, and recommending to the editor which submissions to reject or publish.
. Proofreading poems’ spelling, punctuation and grammar.
. Editing poems’ syntax or particular words/phrases in the poem.
. Providing comments to say why I have chosen to accept/reject a particular submission.
Private Academic Proofreader

. Correcting essays’ spelling, punctuation and grammar.
. Providing marginal comments in the essay to suggest ways to rephrase awkward wording, or to highlight content flaws (e.g. “This point needs expanding”; “These two points contradict each other”; etc.).
