About me
A hard-working and resilient operations director, as well as an experienced and capable EA/ PA across both creative and corporate sectors. To play my role I have to self-motivate and be ahead of the game at all times. My current job has forced me to develop quickly and thoroughly in a multi-faceted, ever changing role. I have recently organised a series of charity events with some of London’s most high-profile chefs, and am currently collaborat- ing with Bocca di Lupo on their new cookbook, which I cooked from for their latest social media campaign. Further to this I am recording a bi-weekly food show with Soho Radio’s culture channel, which was formerly presented by chef Aldo Zilli. Previously to this role, I supported two partners at a global headhunting firm, worked as an EA to the CEO of a suc- cessful not for profit for four years, and worked extensively in the music and entertainment industry as a production manager. I thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and have worked with difficult personal- ities across the hospitality, music and entertainment industries as well as recruitment, HR and technology and communications. I have a degree in English Literature from the University of Easy Anglia, and am accom- plished and confident in my written and verbal communication and organisational skills.

    Managing operations for a busy neighbourhood restaurant and catering company as well as working as personal assistant to chef/patron. Extremely varied, fast-paced and often stressful role, managing both the chef/patron and all staff, processing payroll and HR func- tions, managing all internal and external bookings as well as executing organisational as- pects of all in house and outside event catering jobs. Responsibilities include : • Acting as main point of contact for all suppliers as well as landlords, solicitors, accoun- tants and Hackney Council • Managing chef/patron, including out of hours activities • Managing all restaurant bookings, event bookings and external catering jobs • Assisting bookkeeping and reconciling all supplier invoices and miscellaneous expenses with external bookkeeper and accountants, as well as managing chef/patron and all staff expenses • Managing staff payroll and all HR functions • Ensuring that day to day management of the restaurant runs smoothly and effectively • Managing all accounts functions including paying suppliers, invoicing clients and paying tax and PAYE • Acting as gatekeeper to chef/patron and all restaurant staff. In my role as Operations Director I am able to : • Keep calm under pressure • Manage multiple tasks at the same time • Work with difficult people • Manage across an organisation • Manage budgets • Organise events at short notice, whilst securing good commercial terms • Work with sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality at all times.

In my role as EA I undertook the following : • Extensive diary management • Travel arrangement for both partners, as well as multiple candidates and clients • Booking all internal and external meetings • Creating and editing presentations • Acting as main point of contact for all current and potential clients and candidates • Organising and executing private events for high profile clients across the technology and communications sector • Managing expenses • Acting as gatekeeper to both partners.
