About me
As the Chief Executive of The Marketing Society and founder of Cabal, I’m always looking for ways to bring people together by creating unique experiences where you get to be you.
Because if you bring interesting and interested people together, its where the magic happens.
I know together we are better and can have a bigger impact - and impact at scale.
I believe in being brave. And having brave conversations about the subjects that matter. We are pushing boundaries, tackling taboos and creating the comfortable spaces to have the uncomfortable conversations. I know that brave brands can be good for business. That being a brave marketing leader brings big rewards.
I love leading our global community, today we have thriving Marketing Society hubs in London, Scotland, Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, India and New York. And brilliant teams supporting us across the world.
Alongside my role at The Marketing Society I am proud to have been the first female president of the Solus Club in 2016 in their 90 year history. And extremely proud to be founder of Cabal, a handpicked club of extraordinary (and humble) people.
For the last eight years, I've been growing and nurturing The Marketing Society's network, and now, as MD, I'm working hard to transform the Society into the global network of senior marketers. We've already opened The Marketing Society Asia in Hong Kong and exciting expansion plans are afoot.
I've always done things in a different way. It all started at beginning of my career, 14 years ago, at The Foreign Office when I saw the way certain things were being done and started asking questions. There's always another way.
I believe that if you bring interesting and interested people together, big ideas happen and we do good together. An entrepreneur at heart, I run Cabal, my own private club for extraordinary people who can't sit still, creating memorable experiences that you wouldn't get anywhere else.

- SILICON BEACHED 2017Two minutes of silent meditation is not the average start to an event, but then Silicon Beached is not an average event. And thankfully Gemma Greaves, the Chief Executive of The Marketing Society is not your average speaker. Gemma's exuberant opening talk on the subject of Being Brave set the tone for the rest of the day, as well as laying the foundations of what would emerge as the themes of the day. She also hates acronyms.

- Creative Equals RISE 2019: In PicturesOur flagship conference! Yes. It's time to RISE. Only 13% of creative director contracts are currently given to women (and they are paid 7% less than their male peers). This is why RISE exists to change that across the creative and tech industries. And, we're INCLUSIVE. For change to happen, we need everyone to be involved in the narrative. Here are highlights from the conference (15 May 2019) held at the London Symphony Orchestra's home in Shoreditch, one of the most beautiful locations in to23
