    • PHOTOGRAPHY DIRECTOR- SHORTLIST MAGAZINE (SHORTLIST MEDIA LTD) OCTOBER 2016-JANUARY 2019 • Commissioning all photoshoots for the magazine from celebrity covers, fashion stories, conceptual still life, food, reportage and features. • Booking travel, flights and accommodation for UK based and international shoots. • Commissioning photographers, scouting and booking locations, models, stylists and make-up artists. • Organising international cover shoots and fashion specials. Locations include, LA, New York, Vancouver, Austin, Norway, Morocco and Cuba. • Working closely with international production companies. • Pro-actively seeking new photographers and creative talent to keep the magazine fresh. • Liaising with publicists and PR's to organise shoot logistics. • Sourcing and calling in props for photoshoots. • Responsible for the picture research across all sections of the magazine. • Managing weekly picture budgets, authorising and signing off all invoices, marking up issues and sending out weekly usage reports to picture agencies. • Managing new contributor contracts. • Art directing shoots and ensuring the shoot runs smoothly. • Overseeing post production including retouch requirements. • Providing creative and visual ideas for all imagery running in the magazine. • Arranging freelance cover. • Experience in booking commercial photoshoots and working closely with video and stills teams to deliver clients brief
