I was chosen to represent my university as the Events Manager for the Crysalis ‘Lace Effects’ Project. The project took place at La Cité Internationale de la Dentelle et de la Mode France and involved the organisation of a catwalk launch event, using the graduate design collections from my university in conjunction with the opening of the Crysalis ‘Lace Effects’ Exhibition.
- Managed all press call-ins, tracked samples and liaised with press and clients to ensure an efficient process - Managed the company interns and delegated their daily tasks - Hosted showroom appointments with press & media relations and maintained high showroom standards - Supported with the production of various events and press days - Maintained client relationships and responded to media enquiries - Assisted PRs with general admin duties; collated weekly PR coverage, wrote copy for press releases and kept up to date with industry trends
