About me
Genesis is a visual artist with interests in Graphic Design, Oil Painting and Photograhy. Her mother is a psychotherapist, so she has had an understanding of mental health and wants to highlight these issues specifically for people of colour and help remove the stigma that many ethnic communities have. In 2016, she started travelling and she documented her time there through, photography and hand sketches. This helped ignite her passion of photojournalism and she has a goal of visiting every country in the world. She studied a degree in Architecture. This gave her training in graphic design, photography, film making, model making and digital illustration. Within the next year, Genesis hopes to be doing different types of art - full time - to shine a light of stories, from disadvantaged (or commonly misunderstood) communities; and long term, make a massive impact on their general perception.
