About me
A wide vivid imagination is something that personally is my strongest asset and helps me complete tasks in a way that is usually different to other peoples way of thinking. I am very interested in music because from a young age I have always taken a love for creating and experimenting with sounds to make interesting beats and sequences. I thoroughly enjoy manipulating music into my own style and I hope to show something different and new to the music industry.
From a young age I have always been in love with the way the music makes you feel, starting at dancing to the beejees when I was young to djing at 18th birthday parties. After attending many music festivals I feel like my desire to play and to perform to big audiences is pushed further and further, being a audience at a festival makes my understand what people want when they go to a show and it helps me to understand how to make my own sets into something people will love.
I studied Media Studies, Photography and Drama all at A level and for my AS results I received grades C, C, D and for my final A Level results I got C, D, D. For the practical side of my A Levels I got a B in Drama and a B in Photography. At G.C.S.E I received an A in Music and for all my coursework modules A*. I attended the Academy of Contemporary Music for two years and made use of the studios that were there. This enabled me to have time to experiment with professional studio equipment and gain a self taught better understanding of music production.
I also take high interest into live sound and recording music as an ensemble, I first took up playing guitar at the age of 13 and after 5 years of playing both acoustic and electric guitars I have adapted my techniques into a mixture of modern and classical styled pieces. I have been involved in multiple different work placements including, a pet shop, a cafe and a video game store. Due to getting such experience in multiple different working environments it has enabled me to gain a wider knowledge of using initiative, customer interaction and working skills, that help me complete various different jobs. Getting experience with customers helps boost my soft skills and enables me to create conversations and open minded ideas with people. Time management is another big thing when working in placements and therefore allowing me to pace myself well, being able to arrive on time and enables me to work with people well.
