Responsible for general management of office including kit, office safety and staffing. Overseeing the office runner and delegating responsibilities to them. Working closely with the Head of Production and Managing Director to ensure general demands of the company are met including profit share allocation, keeping track of staffing and office health and safety. This includes implementing fire /H&S risk assessments actions across the building and taking on responsibility of head fire warden. Organised office move including complete set up of internet and internal wiring system of new building. Arranged removals and liaised with buildings manager, electrician and facilities managers to ensure security, power and edit systems were fully functional before the move.
Working as part of the live team on ‘The Jump’ in Austria prepping and managing 8 live shows. Responsibilities included transport management for edit and rig crew on location, reconciling petty cash, organising crew per diems and looking after audience members. On ‘Kings & Queens of Speech’ (documentary) I organised travel for contributors, maintained tape and release form logs, created call sheets and managed runner duties on location. I worked as part of a two person production team organising and running the logistics for shoots at various schools across the UK as well as the Oxford Union and The Houses of Parliament.
Responsible for setting up, maintaining and reconciling petty cash floats, putting together call sheets for crew and liaising with film offices and councils gaining permission to film in a various places in and outside of London. Across travel, release and cost log trackers, liaised closely with the kit company to manage equipment and crew and carried out DBS checks on all production teams and crews. Heavily involved in the post production, chasing clearances, permissions releases and completing silvermouse / soundmouse paperwork.
Working in the office and on location organising all transport for Talent, VIP’s and a 70 strong crew across 8 shoots around the UK. Other responsibilities include performing DBS checks for artists, completing purchase orders, setting up smaller shoots and making call sheets.
For 2 months I worked as a Production Runner for Sky One’s first observational rig show “The Sun Set” located in Spain. I was based in the office for 4 weeks leading up to the shoot assisting the production department by sorting out travel for contributors and crew, booking and collecting supplies and equipment as well as assisting various recce’s around the UK. Once out in Spain responsibilities included looking after the gallery, logging pod interviews and PSC shoots, being on the floor to communicate between the gallery and contributors and collecting release and location forms from the public when out on excursions. This experience was a valuable opportunity to work alongside the production team in sorting out logistics and practicalities for a large shoot.
