About me

Having spent over decade selling other people's stuff, this is where I have to try and market myself. Over the years as a writer I’ve used words in various ways to pull at the heartstrings, make people laugh (once), think about their finances, tell them which car to buy or airline to fly. I’ve used them to encourage people to smoke; but then I’ve also used them to help them cut down on their drinking. But being a writer is only half the job. And if I’m really honest, the best part of doing this ‘job’ is the coming up with ideas bit. Whether it’s having a thought on the train for turning a shopping centre into a football stadium, or working with developers to create 'face-altering' tech to get students to buy treats, the real 'kick' of the job is that you start with a blank piece of paper and you can end up anywhere.
