After completing my A levels I took a gap year and travelled to New Zealand on a working holiday visa. The role involved: •Responsibility for a section of up to 9 tables •Greeting customers and showing them to their table •Flexibility to help both customer and colleagues

Over my three years I studies a variety of modules including: Visual Communication, Adaptation to Screen, 19th Century Literature, Media Geographies, Cultures of Production, Narratives, Women's Writing and Feminist Theory, New English Writing and Voices and The Child in Literature. For my dissertation I conducted research into narratives in video games titled An investigation into the importance of narrative in video games, how they operate and their relationship to film.
