- The Poundshop - Loft&For our 9th shop we were commissioned by the department store Loft&, where we popped up over Christmas 2013 in their store. Loft& was opening two new floors, next to it’s Shibuya flagship store, and we had the honor to be part of their celebrations. We showcased 24 designers from the UK, with a few special products that had been created solely for Poundshop 9 at Loft&. Designed and built by The Poundshop
- The Science PoundshopThe Poundshop opened The Science Poundshop from Wednesday 24th June to Wednesday 1st July 2015. This time The Poundshop collection takes a science theme, with products including paper Lego spaceships by Durrell Bishop, geometric platonic solid candles from Essence & Alchemy, ‘stitch-it-yourself’ dot-to-dot constellation tote bags by Lollipop Designs and A2B wrapping paper by Lisa Jones. We created the installation based on science equipment cases, using foam to cut specific shapes for each product.
- South Block Poundshop - GlasgowIn July 2016, The Poundshop set up shop at South Block, Glasgow, in collaboration with Wasp Studios for Merchant City Festival 2016. The Poundshop 17 celebrated the tenth anniversary of the twinning of Glasgow and Marseille and showcased low cost products produced by a mix of eclectic designers, influenced by these two great cities. This was the first time The Poundshop appeared in Scotland, boasting a unique interior created by local designer Steff Norwood.The Poundshop 17 was a great opportunity to lay hands on specially curated products with everything selling for £1, £3 and £5.
