I was awarded funding by the EU to work with a creative production company in Portugal on the following: • Running the Art Space gallery selling artwork online and in the gallery space; • Assisting on studio and location shoots, editing images and developing concepts for shoots; • Evolving social media and marketing strategies e.g. developing the company website; • Interviewing collaborating photographers for lifestyle/fashion magazine Wink, and preparing collaborative budgets; • Assisting in the design and production of the magazine and photo book retrospective; • Organising equipment, personnel and clothes and building relationships with stylists and boutiques.
Front of house, administrator and archivist at a London film and TV production company, where I was responsible for the day-to-day running of the office. This included: • Organising travel and staff diaries, checking equipment for shoots, managing mail and deliveries in and out of the office; • Managing all incoming phone and email communications and meeting clients at front of house; • Providing administrative support across the office, e.g. invoicing clients and commercial partners, managing operations’ expenses and maintaining client contact database; • Ensuring safe and functional running of equipment, organising in-house and external screenings and events, and managing catering.
Worked at independent London cinema developing and marketing events, maintaining the private members program, running the box office and working the cash and card bar.
Managing the ticket office and ushering for the Sussex production of Missouri Williams’ King Lear With Sheep. The production involved nine live sheep and a purpose-built 200 capacity hay-bale auditorium requiring vigilant health and safety management: • Undertaking full risk assessment; • Installing fire safety precautions to ensure safe conversion.
Producing Purcell’s opera Dido and Aeneas starring the internationally-renowned singers Sally Matthews and Finnur Bjarnason: • Designing, developing and building sets with BP Portrait winning artist Stuart Pearson Wright; • Organising press and marketing to ensure ticket sales of 200+ for each performance; • Running the box office and hospitality on performance nights.
