  • I am enthusiatic and motivated with a key interest in marketing, specifically digital analytics and social media. I am also a passionate on and off piste skier. In summer 2015, I combined this passion with my interest in marketing in an E-commerce and Marketing Internship at Faction Skis, the world's fastest growing ski brand. I am in my last year of studying 'International Business with French'? at The University of Birmingham. Modules i have studied include: International Marketing, Intergrated Marketing Communications, Brand Marketing and Strategy and Finance. I have just completed a year abroad studying at Grenoble Ecole de Management, where i developed my French language skills up to a professional proficiency standard. **I am currently looking for employment opportunities following my graduation in June, 2016.** I am seeking a job in a young, innovative environment, most likely in a small to medium sized company, with the opportunity to make a significant contribution. I would also relish the opportunity to work in an international environment and use my language skills.

  • Responsibilities: - Worked for 3 months in a variety of roles: customer service, website analytics, social media marketing and PR. - Used Similar Web and Google analytics to identify and anaylse website traffic sources, customer demographics (for customer segmentation) and customer website behavior, all compared to key competitors. Findings presented to the global team via Skype. - Explored the current lack of Female-orientated social media. Undertook case study based research to develop ideas for female-targeted social media. Researched influential bloggers and Instagram accounts. Looked into Pinterest as a female-orientated discovery platform. Research resulted in the creation of the hash tag #factionwomen, a new female Instagram account, new Pinterest material and plans for future female campaigns, including consumer generated content. - Undertook PR activities including: researching contacts, calling over 100 publications to gather contacts, writing two website blogs, contacting potential investors through AngelList and using Mail Chimp to send out newsletters. - Customer service, including using tools such as Olark (online chat) and Freshdesk. - The Faction London team is based in a co-working space called Runway East with 20 other start-ups. I benefited from working in a young, fresh and dynamic working environment.

  • Sunday Times Top 100 Company to Work For 2012. As an intern at Waa i was fully introduced to agency-side marketing. I worked with people from across all departments including: client services, PR, creative and new business. My experience led me to want to pursue a career in an agency environment. Responsibilites: - Worked in the client services department on projects across retail, leisure, trade and education industries. - Wrote artwork, development and activation briefs for the creative team. - Researched and compiled competitor review reports for clients. - Collated a guard book to aid the creative team review current work. - Worked with PR to create a twitter following for a client and on an event as part of a wider campaign. - Tools used included: Synergist, Followerwonk and Pearl Finders.
