I graduated from Southampton University in June 2014, since then I have been working and volunteering in various countries as I have travelled. I am now in the UK looking for work. I have a passion for the arts and wish to combine that with my knowledge of administration and events.
Work history
Marketing Intern & Bar Manager
I am currently working as an intern for Creation Theatre. This is a very exciting opportunity for me as I am learning skills in social media marketing as well as general theatre administration. At the moment I am helping with a social media strategy to help gain public interest. Furthermore I have helped with general publicity and even got my hands dirty helping the props team! As well as this internship I have been managing the bar at the ‘North Wall’ where Creation’s production of ‘Treasure Island’ is being performed. I therefore am dealing with customer’s daily and ensuring that the bar is stocked, safe and sensational! Creation is a small company and often I help assist Front of House with the ushers and with the public. It’s a jack of all trade’s sort of position

Whilst living in Brisbane I worked for PresCare. Throughout this time my main role was to provide assistance for the rostering team by being the first point of call for clients/carers who had any queries about their rosters. I therefore was dealing with the public on a day-to-day basis and was constantly under pressure to help fix problems that may arise. This has helped me to become more resourceful when things go wrong as well as remaining professional at all times. I also was using an online database to monitor and help manage the rosters, as well as producing spreadsheets with data on employees pay and holiday requests. Furthermore I was also required to also help with general office duties.
