I love literature, art and laughter. I am an amateur playwright, keen reader and have a thirst for knowledge. I am kind, gregarious and very personable. Radio Reporter, inrix media - 2015 -present -I am a travel reporter for various radio stations across the South East; my main clients are the the high profile BBC and Global Stations. -Listen out for me regularly reporting on LBC London News, Absolute Radio, Virgin Radio, Magic and BBC 3 Counties Radio. -I provide articulate, informative and slick bulletins that let the listeners know what is going on. There is no room for complacency or inaccuracies. I also have to adapt my style of delivery to the preferences of each radio station client. -I also write reports for radio stations, which presenters read out for large audiences.
Tasks included: -Assisting with art exhibitions; handling the art. -Co-worked, designed and produced mosaic work. -Modelled for paintings, drawings and sculpture. Conducted research.
For the opening season I wrote a short play called 'Swipe Right' which was performed over a week.
Whilst working for solicitor Helen Whittaker; -I analysed case law. -Created an online library of cases with summaries of the key points covered in each case (using Microsoft Word and Excel)
Whilst working as a General Assistant: -I was responsible for carrying through transactions, providing excellent customer service, training new staff and handling the warehouse. - Whilst working at the Coop, our team achieved Best Store within Essex county, and I was chosen to be part of the presentation which helped our store win the award.
- For two months, I lived in Paris with a french family, assisting each member with their English and teaching them about British art and culture.
Whilst working for Ian’s Academy of Driving; -I spent several years dealing with IT issues; I helped set up the first website, social media accounts, set out the accounts on Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, designed business cards, logos on Microsoft Publisher, and dealt with any IT glitches. -I promoted the business to new customers, increasing sales and maintaining good customer relations. -I managed schedules and diaries.
I was chosen alongside a handful of students to present a speech about a subject I am passionate about. I spent a day drafting and organising my project about 'Homelessness' before performing it to a panel.
