About me

I am a creative graphic designer from Oxfordshire, UK. I have over 8 years professional design experience working on print and digital design, from posters, brochures and packaging to social media and web design. I also have experience in hand drawn and vector illustration with a versatile style, and particularly enjoy surface pattern design and screen printing. I like to design bold patterns and I am inspired by vintage commercial printmaking, landscapes, unexpected patterns in everyday life and travels to exciting places. I studied fine art and printmaking in Aberystwyth, Wales and graphic design in Brisbane, Australia. I have worked in London, Tanzania, The Dolomites in Italy and Whistler, Canada.

• Bee.Watch smartphone technologyBranding, illustration, photography, web and print design. Bee.Watch is a technology company using smartphone integrated hive and environmental management systems including pesticide alerts for beekeepers.
• Wedding stationaryDesign, typography and illustration for custom wedding stationary in a wide range of styles.
• Whistler Fitness VacationsWhistler Fitness Vacations run Weight loss retreats in beautiful Whistler, BC. I created a new look and feel to update the brand with beautiful and modern fonts and a soft, feminine and functional colour palette. I worked on a print and online catalogue, a series of month-long workbooks with daily recipes and activities, plus an employee manual. The colours and design elements were also used across the new website and blog.
• Picturehouse x Star Wars website takeoverTickets sales release for Star Wars: The Force Awakens was anticipated to be a big day on the Picturehouse CInemas website so the marketing team planned a special Star Wars takeover on the cinema selector page. I created hand-drawn illustrations to replace each cinema with a place from the Star Wars galaxy. This was a fun project with a very tight deadline for the record-breaking ticket release day.
• Film postersPoster design, print and web marketing campaigns for national and international film releases for Picturehouse Entertainment.
• The Moody Mare pub and restaurantPosters and marketing print design for The Moody Mare pub and restaurant. Taking inspiration from the eclectic, vintage decor of the pub, yet keeping a clean and fresh look and feel.
