About me
I am an aspiring fashion designer with a degree in Fashion Design from IUAV University of Venice. I like to observe my surroundings; I am fond of the combination of colours, textures and materials with a deep sensitivity to all that is visual. I enjoy experimenting at every phase of the design process, looking for fluidity and cohesion. I am constantly inspired by images, people, sensations and concepts in the world around me. I look for inspiration from the ordinary and I interpret it in order to find new approaches.
Projects
  • Re-Vival
Re-VivalIn the attempt to give new life and new value to something old; in order for it to become modern, in this collection I have focused on the “revival of the outfit”. Which comes from the reinterpretation of both the outfit’s design and the way it is worn. The old ensemble is analysed and described in a way that it can then be translated in a new stylistic language.
  • Ex-Centrique
Ex-CentriqueThe theme of the collection derives from the classic men’s suit which acts as a conceptual CENTRE, but worn in an ECCENTRIC way (from the Latin: ex centrum, away from the centre). This eccentricity is achieved by the use of asymmetry, overthrow/reverse and the oversize cut. The hidden details are valued and the lining takes a rigid shape; the jacket rests on just one shoulder, and the volumes are adapted through knots and folds.
  • No.Com
No.Com"For the first time I established a set of rules: do not talk, do not move too quickly or slowly, do not play, do not laugh, do not fall with each other, keep the initial position as long as possible, be discreet and eventually return to the initial position. Be an image, your behavior must reflect on the other ... "VB. No-communication is born from an analysis of the silhouette of the twenties, reinterpreted with special attention to its line and proportions and in parallel to the work of Vanessa Beecroft. On the set, I had my models move around three chairs facing in different directions; each time they moved, they would remove a garment and put it on a chair, exchanging it for the garment left by the model in front, and so on. No one spoke and they could not look at each other. They communicated only through the clothing that they continually exchanged. Meanwhile someone was filming the performance. The room was silent.
