I have over 5 years of experience working in social media marketing, sales, project management, and strategic management. Currently, I work as the Head of Talent Management at Marmalade Collective where I lead a small cross-functional team, building influencer relationships that help generate revenue opportunities! I’m a big picture thinker with a proven ability to create, deliver & implement new solutions. I’m deeply passionate about my African identity and the role that digital marketing plays in supporting people (specifically Africans both in the continent and in the diaspora) to reach their potential customers and build their online presence.
Previously, I worked at The University of Hull as a Student Engagement/Entrepreneurship Intern, providing critical opportunities for budding entrepreneurs to learn and grow by facilitating peer-to-peer learning workshops, setting up Canvas resource toolkits (which required HTML coding), creating video case studies and connecting industry experts with students.
If you catch me outside of work, I'm an adventurous slow traveler - 15 countries and counting - and an avid lover of the good life!
I also like meeting new people over a cup of hot chocolate. Feel free to reach out at gloriamarandu@yahoo.com.
