My career has consisted of creating projects from the ground up, writing articles, providing insight as a social media and content strategist and trend expert. Co-hosted Style Expert campaign for a special French Connection Canada Spring 2013 marketing project: Fashion Thursdays. Presented fashion trends to live audiences with runway models showcasing silhouette and colour trends on-figure. Worked closely with Charmain Emerson, VP of Marketing at French Connection Canada, to help create interactive Q&A sessions and engaging content post-event via blog posts and social media marketing.
Provided expert writing analysis of the global beauty market: created, managed and produced quality, meaningful digital trend content that was useful, comprehensive and inspiring to WGSN-Stylesight’s international roster of clients, some of which included International Flavors and Fragrances (IFF), L’Oréal Paris, NARS, Revlon and others. Interviewed industry experts, fashion designers and beauty artists for trend features and editorial articles. Built client relationships, completed consulting work for the sales and marketing team to help finalize contracts. Produced video and social-media driven interactive projects with marketing and social media team. Travelled to global fashion weeks for backstage beauty and runway coverage in New York and London.
