     - London, United KingdomInternship
My responsibility in this internship was to edit, film and do other roles required for a video production company corporate event, funerals, community events, galas and so much more. I've enjoyed being part of this internship because I've had to privilege of shooting in the House of Commons, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, the Financial Conduct Authority and other fantastic venues I've never dreamt to be involved in. This internship definitely boosted my confidence up and gave me the belief that the life of a filmmaker is much more interesting and fun than I thought it was. My mentor, Robert Robinson, also taught me how to become an independent worker, showed me the ropes on the 5D Canon cameras and how to deliver projects to a professional standard to please and impress a client.

     - London, United KingdomInternship
My role in this internship was to be the online editor who was responsible for editing videos into small, quirky and funny trailers for social media (Facebook and Instagram) to advertise the shows, What's your Dilemma and Tell Vanessa Productions. Furthermore, I was given the responsibility of being a the camera operator for shoots arranged with my team to film projects in public areas. I would have a meeting with my then mentor, Vanessa Cruickshank, once a month to review my progress and to discuss other tasks that were coming up. I've learnt so much from her because she gave me an opportunity to be involved in the social media aspect and honed my skills while at it.

My time spent in university was worth my time as it helped me adapt my skills as a filmmaker, especially in post production as I was thought how to use Avid and Da Vinci Resolve. On top of all, the main thing I got out of my university experience was how to work independently or in teams as well as knowing the importance of networking with people in the creative circuit.
