I was invited to the festival to attend screenings and round tables, and write content for their website. I wrote a piece entitled, 'Papa, can you see me? The pitfalls of adaptation and the erasure of minorities in the works of Vittorio de Sica and Giorgio Bassani’.

During my MPhil I worked collaboratively and individually on research projects. My research focused on the metaphysics of Antonin Artaud, the issue of sex workers in the works Émile Zola and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, spaces of memory and testimonies of the Algerian War, and the analogies of typography, design and Mallarmé's 'oeuvre totale' in the works of Maurice Roche.
