In this role I help to design adaptable workshops for KS2 and KS3 students on Science and Technology Facilities Council research topics as part of the Discovery Planet pop-up project. I am responsible for producing accessible, exciting, and engaging online materials to supplement physics workshops for KS2 and KS3, as well as their families and teachers. This is in the form of teaching materials, short videos, podcasts, and web pages. As part of this role, I have studied science communication techniques and theories for non-specialised, young, and disadvantaged audiences including concepts of science capital and specialised outreach techniques.
