About me

A multidisciplinary professional currently focused on nurturing new business development opportunities, project managing the execution of retail POS installations and supporting Store Design/VM departments with improving their in-store communication. I am a personable account manager with a knack for opening doors and enhancing commercial activity within existing accounts. I approach each client with an open, honest and sincere manner with a view to solidifying long lasting, fruitful relationships through structured project management and constant communication. I have a passion for achieving exceptionally high levels of customer satisfaction, and this desire runs through my thinking of every level of decision-making.   • • New Business Development/Account Manager for POS company that specialises in the manufacturing and management of light boxes with interchangeable graphic textile replacements for retailers. • Closed £250k+ of new business (mainly stemming from cold calls) with retailers such as Topshop, Burberry, Gap, Estée Lauder, Cath Kidston, Karen Millen, L.K. Bennett, Aquascutum plus many more. • Currently in negotiations with the procurement departments of River Island, Boots, The Body Shop, New Look, Cadenzza and Barbour. • Successfully project managed 70+ store POS retrofit for L.K. Bennett. Responsibilities included coordinating the measuring of existing fixtures, designing the installation programme and executing the project within a tight deadline. • Assisted Managing Director with the management of lucrative accounts such as M&S, Office and Arcadia Group. • Sourced and supervised shopfitters for numerous installations at retail destinations such as the Westfield Centres, Oxford Street and Regent Street. • Fronted the company stand at Retail Week Shop 2014 & Retail Design Expo.

  • A commodity buyer for furniture, mobile phones, PPE/workwear and estates & facilities. Responsibilities included the daily processing of requisitions, negotiating value for money, managing & advertising E-tenders and the contract management of suppliers. - Project managed and coordinated the company’s E-auction for the furnishing of a new £6million Art & Design facility and Theatre. This included purchasing bespoke elements from Herman Miller, coordinating the delivery programme and managing the successful tenderer. - Led the department in company savings over the 12-13 year. This was achieved through building strong relationships with suppliers, RFQ’s, negotiations and installing rebate systems. - Sourced new vendors that have benefited the college financially and/or provided an improved quality of service i.e. shorter lead times, efficient quotes & increased number of site visits. - Oversaw the analysis of a £250k catering tender that included a review of the written tender applications, coordinating interviews & taster days with the potential suppliers and writing a detailed contract award report.
