GuardianCreative is the in-house design and creative department for the Guardian, the Observer and guardian.co.uk. Art Director and lead Designer on major projects including Glastonbury festival, the Guardian Student Media Awards and the Observer Food Monthly Awards. Led a team of Copywriters, Art Directors and Designers on pitching and presenting creative ideas for a wide selection of projects. First point of contact for creative support and advice to more junior members of the team and other departments. Produced online flash advertising from concept to production for companies including First Direct, Panasonic and American Express.
