Hakan Can represents a new kind of European artists: not limited by “one” culture. After studying design and philosophy, he has passionately dedicated himself to concentrating on intense storytelling and filmmaking. His partly dark, but still beautifully realistic fairy-tale worlds are marked by the suffering of love and a constant quest for meaning.
Today Hakan focuses on commercials, music videos and his first feature film, which will be shot in 2017. He has already directed commercials for Siemens, Swarovski, Drykorn, Patrick Mohr as well as an award winning short film The Barbier’s Blade.
