About me
23 yrs old with a degree in English Literature, completed in May 2020.
I have had the chance to take on some creative pursuits. I was one of three young producers put to task on National Poetry Day Live 2016 (which was in partnership with Southbank Centre and The Poetry Society). This allowed me to take on several roles from: School Liason, Stage Management, Artist Management etc. Having such responsibilities at the age of 18 whilst juggling sixthform helped me gain vital organisation and management skills. As well as being able to have hands on experience with working an arts event.
In 2017, I got the opportunity to volunteer for London Film Festival. Which gave me a crucial insight into a world I had yet to discover. It was extremely fast paced but I got the hang of everything very quickly. I’d like to think that’s not only because of my job as a bookseller but my passion for film/excitement for the opportunity. I am a quick learner and put passions as well as dedication into all the things that I do.
My last job was interning for Young Turks from February to May 2019. I was able to learn under the head of the label as well spend time within their A&R and Project Managing departments.
