- A Clockwork OrangeThis small publication contains my illustrations that resembles imagery from Anthony Burgess Story 'A Clockwork Orange'. In Stanley Kubricks version of the book I feel that we are still to this day, captivated and haunted by the imagery Kubrick exposes us to. I was fixated on the central idea of the question of free-will. Do we lose our humanity if we are deprived of the choice between good and evil? Do we become, as the title suggest, a Clockwork Orange?
- #againstalloddsI wanted to display Ashwin Willemse story, as a set of posters. I was inspired by the huge transition of his life, by using sport in his life to get out of gang life and eventually play for the South African national rugby team. I wanted to communicate through type, to illustrate the gritty and the hard life, Willemse went through during the younger years of his life. Sport is used everywhere to help enforce discipline and a sense of pride into young people. I want to help project this message through this vibrant set of posters. The type was done on leather to give a rugby ball texture; so I wanted to see how the ink of the type bled into the material.
