    Graduate Marketing
     - London, United KingdomFull Time
I spent a year on the Graduate Marketing Managerial Trainee Scheme at L'Oreal, working in 4 month rotations in various areas of the company. During this scheme l have worked on communication and commercial strategies, product development and brand renovations, playing an integral part in product launches within various divisions. Garnier Ambre Solaire - this role was very commercial led and focused heavily on market analysis and developing strategies from this. I was lucky to have joined the brand at a very exciting time, working on large media briefs and artwork development. The Body Shop International - in this role I worked in Make-up Product Development and International Marketing. This was a very creative role in which I was developing products and marketing concepts to go out to markets across the world. This helped me to develop a strong understanding of the differences across global markets and the various trends across each. Yves Saint Laurent Beauty - in this role I played an integral part in product launches, BA engagement, artwork development and project management. I developed strong relationships with suppliers and oversaw launch projects from start to finish. I worked with various retailers to develop exciting content and strategies targeted specifically to their consumer, which is an integral part to working within the luxury division. L'Oreal's Graduate Scheme has allowed me to develop skills across the board in one of the world's leading cosmetics companies. I have worked in the FMCG, leading retail and luxury divisions, developing my knowledge of both the U.K and International markets for varying commercial structures.

Education
BA Fashion Communication 1st Class Honours
     - Nottingham, United Kingdom
I graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a 1st class honours in Fashion Communication and Promotion. Throughout my time on the course, I worked with Young British Designers, L'Oreal, Unilever, Future Foundation, Pretty Polly, Ann Inc USA and TRAID developing skills in marketing and branding, trend analysis, market research and strategy development. My final year dissertations included 'The Manifold Male', a study into the modernisation of communication in the male accessories sector, and a live project with the brand 'Young British Designers' developing a strategy to reposition the brand within the luxury conceptual market. Alongside this, I produced a live project portfolio for L'Oreal, presenting a 360 strategy to redefine Kiehls within the male cosmetics sector. This was submitted to L'Oreal and resulted in myself and team members winning the UK Brandstorm marketing competition 2014. This is a Worldwide Marketing competition that turns ideas into products and strategy, and involves presenting to Top Brand management and country managers. I felt very privileged to be representing the U.K on such a huge scale.
