Projects
  • Nature Photography
Nature PhotographyExperimenting with macro photography, here is an insight to what I get up to. Wherever I travel, my camera is also travelling.
  • Exposed Exhibition Poster
Exposed Exhibition PosterThe brief was to create a poster for the National Museum of Wales who were holding a exhibition called 'Exposed' The exhibition was free in order to try and lose their typical academic view and appeal to a younger audience and anchor its collection in the culture of the exciting, expanding city.
  • Animal Farm Book Cover
Animal Farm Book CoverThe challenge was to create a 'Special Edition' book cover for the book Animal Farm. The publishers required ‘fresh ideas’ and surface design with a strong visual attraction that will entice potential consumers to purchase or re-purchase a title.
  • Twisted Album Cover
Twisted Album CoverThe brief was to create an album cover for the band Rigid Edge with their new upcoming debut album. The band was an edgey band with a unique style. I wanted to focus on the name of the album Twisted and see how I could interpretate this into the design and make it visually appealing and attract customers to purchase.
  • Mysterious Object Packaging
Mysterious Object PackagingThe brief was to invent an exciting, bizarre, romantic, heroic history for an object I purchased from a charity shop. I had to create a presentation package for the object that reflects its mythical past. The illustration and typography were the most important for this 3 dimensional package. At face value it looks like the object can be found anywhere but I discovered that it has an exciting mythical story and is extremely valuable and highly collectible. I decide to sell the object but realise I need a packaging solution that illustrates the value and history of the object using original imagery and type. The aim of the brief was to create a packaging solution that illustrates the value and history of an object. It is an extremely valuable and highly collectible object with an exciting mythical story. The packaging must illustrate the story through original imagery and type. The object is a sculpture of Ganesh, which is the elephant-headed god represented in parts of Asia.
  • Typography
TypographyThe challenge was to hack into the structure and anatomy of chosen typefaces and in my findings (postmortem), mutate, manipulate and reconstruct these elements to deliver a new face that communicates the requirements of Time Travelling in Swizterland.
