End to end campaign manager for Mayoral priority projects and associated budgets. Communicated key policies to Londoners through engaging, audience-led campaigns using the full marketing mix - print, social, digital, out-of-home, publicity and influencers. Managed relationships with cross-functional GLA teams, senior GLA staff, the Mayor's Office and external stakeholders including London & Partners, Transport for London and the Met Police. Developed and delivered the Mayor's digital marketing and communications strategies, including social media channels, London.gov.uk content, video and photography. Created and posted content for the Mayor’s social channels, including emergency communications. Procured and managed media, creative, research, publicity and content agencies. Contributed to annual marketing plans and to development of new strategies for broad disciplines, such as content and search marketing and evaluation methodologies. Managed two Marketing Executives, with regular one-to-ones, goal-setting and performance reviews.
Created and implemented umbrella and individual event marketing across the diverse Edinburgh Digital Entertainment Festival programme (now FuturePlay Festival) for Riverside Studios. Responsible for devising and delivering a multi-platform campaign that ensured maximum reach and engagement across print brochures, website, social media and in-market promotions. Worked closely with sponsors and programme partners such as The Guardian, Royal Shakespeare Company and Assembly Festival.
Managed campaign planning, strategy, delivery and evaluation for Auckland Live produced theatre events and provided marketing expertise and support to major venue hirers. Worked with producers, designers, publicists, suppliers and key stakeholders to maximise ticket sales and attendance. Coordinated on-sales, special offers and tracked sales data, working with Ticketmaster, event producers and Auckland Live’s ticketing team. Managed media planning and advertising schedules, negotiating directly with suppliers to secure optimum rates and placement.
As a founding partner of this three-night light festival in Auckland, I defined the voice and tone for all of Art in the Dark's marketing and communications across print, digital, social and at-event marketing. Grew a strong and highly engaged community, with 150,000 visitors attending the 2015 event.
