An enthusiastic and ambitious Product Designer having enjoyed a year long placement at Sensio, an integrated furniture lighting company I have looked forward to finishing my BSc at the University of Leeds where I can apply all my experience. My degree course has enabled me to be both creative and technically literate whilst also exposing me to market and commercial considerations, allowing me to develop as a well rounded designer. With excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work well as part of a team as well as being conscientious and self-reliant I have had great success both on placement as well as in my studies. I am currently wanting to further my studies through a Masters and expand my knowledge and skills set through a team project working with engineers. With a thirst for knowledge and a desire to constantly push boundaries to achieve nothing but my best, I thoroughly am looking forward to joining the design industry!

An intern for a fast growing B2B furniture lighting solutions company, I worked in the newly formed R&D department whilst providing assistance to the Marketing department throughout the duration of my placement.

Fast learning and adaptable, I constantly kept on top of my ever changing role within the company. I developed ideas from sketches to fully manufactured products in both directed and self-initiated projects. Creation of marketing material including; posters, presentations for clients, e-shots and content for brochures helped promote the new product developments. In addition, I made valued contributions to the structure of the business and helped secure the importance of design (both brand and product) throughout the organisation.
