About me
The work I choose to do is always informed by what I believe in. Operating on what I believe has brought me success in many other roles -- researcher, journalist, music director, audio engineer. Growing up in the Seattle suburbs, I was steeped the region's innovative and socially-conscious culture. Upon graduating high school, I spent a gap year learning the Arabic language in Morocco. As a student in the Sciences Po Paris - University of British Columbia dual degree, I earned both a B.A. in political science from Sciences Po, and a B.A. in Religion, Literature, and the Arts from UBC. My passion lies in the intersections of culture, politics, and justice. Through a self-organized gap year and an innovative degree program, I have lived in 7 cities across 6 countries since graduating from high school in 2015. I am interested in pursuing a master's -- whether that will be in International Security, Communications, Journalism, or Ethnomusicology, I am not yet sure. When not working, I am likely writing freelance for magazines, volunteering in Vancouver, playing bass guitar, or working as a sound engineer for the Blank Vinyl Project.
