About me
I am a recent Decorative Arts graduate and am looking for a new and exciting opportunity to take my skills forward. I have experience in creative design, working across a range of skills within ceramics, screen printing, illustration, colour analysis and trends. I also have experience in Auto CAD, Solidworks and Adobe creative suite with a creative short course certificate. In every project I strive to bring a fresh, distinct charm and I always aim to give more than expected.
Projects
- In The Woods Festival, 2014I pitched for this exciting opportunity to be part of the Arts Team at the ‘In Woods Festival’. Held at a secret woodland location, this festival showcases upcoming musicians and installations from new artists displayed around the venue. The theme for the festival was showcasing the absurd and mystical. My idea for a captivating installation was to produce a flock of porcelain birds with mystical and enchanting mutations. Each bird was hand moulded using porcelain and given playful features such as party hats and unicorn horns. The finished pieces hung delicately from the forest trees to act as a beautiful backdrop along the walkway. Suitably named the #partybirds.
