I am a driven, enthusiastic account handler with experience in managing multiple challenging projects for various international healthcare clients. In my role, time management and the ability to quickly prioritise is crucial; to succeed, I am detail-oriented and motivated. I have excellent stakeholder liaison skills and love meeting people to understand their needs and exchange ideas. My aim is always to proactively smooth the course of creative projects to produce a final product that exceeds expectations. I bring an eagerness to learn and a thirst for new challenges to everything I do.
I managed, strategised and report on all social channels, reporting directly to the Head of Digital. I created our social media guidelines, forged partnerships with social and industry influencers and handled community management and customer service on the social channels. I also managed the blog (The Edit) - which included briefing a content agency, as well as copywriting and editing - and writing marketing copy on an ad hoc basis when it was required by the business.
I started working at Audio Network as a digital marketing intern before gaining a permanent position in November 2014. My strong copywriting led me naturally into a role where I wrote editorial for the blog, posted on social media channels and authored onsite copy.
My degree allowed me to explore the full breadth of English and global literature. The rigorous structure meant that I was often writing four essays at one time; I learnt the value of time management skills, which has stood me in good stead for the demands of working life, and honed my written communication skills. I frequently presented to my colleagues, both alone and in a group, which helped me to become a confident public speaker. An inquiring attitude and an interest in the unusual led me to select a diverse range of modules and I graduated with a passion for Medieval hagiography, early modern drama and Queer theory.
