  • Lets Race Website Redesign
    Lets Race Website RedesignI continued the devleopment of the redesign of the Lets Race website when I started my position as their Digital Media & Online Content Producer. This included designing individual pages for the website, working with a website developer and understanding the implication of a new website.
  • Cafe Menus
    Cafe MenusDuring my placement I was set the task of redesigning the companies cafe menus. These menus took inspiration from retro american diners as well as american petrol stations, allowing the theme of motorsport to still be included.
  • Magazine Advert
    Magazine AdvertAn advert created for a New Media London. Lets Race's PR company approached me about creating a advert in a magazine for New Media London to promote Lets Race. This advert was created using InDesign and advertised both Lets Race and the new Endurance Race event they were holding.

Work history
    Digital Media & Online Content Producer

    On my placement year I was the solo in-house designer for Lets Race; the UK's only full motion F1 simulation venue. My work consisted of both digital and print design. I was given responsibility of creating posters, advertisements, banners, flyers and infographics for both online and for displaying inside the centre. Digital work also included managing the companies website design and content, producing designs for a brand new website redesign which took effect whilst I was at the company. I also took on the role of Advertising & Social Media Executive so one of my other main roles was also generating digital content to attract both the existing audience as well as brand new potential customers. This was done so by using social media, where I lead the Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts for the company as well as email campaigns to over 13,000 subscribers. I created relevant content on the networks to engage audience members as well as running digital advertising campaigns across Facebook, Twitter and Google to reach potential customers. To also help boost the reach of the company I worked on the SEO of the company, learning how to optimise and improve the companies already existing search terms within their SEO account. Other roles I engaged with while on my placement included being involved within team meetings, contributing to marketing ideas and working with external contributors with the company to create effective designs.
