About me
25 year old Graduate of American and English Literature at UEA. With a strong passion for creativity and working with people, I am extremely keen to gain experience that will kick-start my career within the creative industries.
A great love of writing resides in the centre of my heart, so to utilise this natural love within a working environment would be a dream. Having only recently graduated, my current goal is to build a skill-set that would eventually allow me to contribute creatively to projects or, vice versa, contribute to the management of creative projects.

BA 2:1 American and English Literature with a Year Abroad

In 2017 UEA ranked 12th in the respected "The Complete University League Table". It is consistently ranked within the top 20 across other prestigious league tables, with my particular department of American Studies often taking place within the top five.
Studying literature to degree-level standard has taught me how to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner. As such, I have an excellent command of the English language and am confident with working on large projects to a specific deadline.
An extremely high level of study was expected throughout my degree, with a reading requirement that averaged three books per week. Such experience has made me adept at reading a large and diverse range of texts in a short amount of time. Further to this, it has also made me extremely confident with the research and discussion of varied topics.
Undertaking a year abroad during my degree, at San Francisco State University, has taught me how to adjust to an extremely challenging situation. The determination to complete this part of my degree despite the difficulties, has equipped me with a resilience to achieve in moments of adversity. It has further shown me the satisfaction that follows overcoming such moments.
