I am a London based menswear designer. Originally from Belgium, graduated from Ravensbourne (London) with a BA (Hons) Fashion Design during which I specialised in menswear. I undertook several long term, self initiated, industry placements including CuteCircuit, Meadham Kirchhoff and Phiney Pet where I was able to gain valuable live industry experience. At Cutecircuit I was able to work closely with some of the leading designers in wearable electronics. During my time at Meadham Kirchhoff resulted in a strong understanding of how to combine traditional and modern techniques and how to apply these older techniques in a contemporary way. Phiney Pet gave me a strong understanding of print design, print development and placement and how to build and run a new fashion label. My menswear has a strong energetic contemporary vibe and showcases a clear, often critical, point of view on this world. An eclectic look that fuses craftsmanship and tradition with a more cutting-edge sense of modernity is what defines me as a designer. I have worked as Studio Manager for Phiney Pet since the conception of her label in September 2013. I currently also work voluntarily as Attaché Communication for the International Art Forum IAF which decorated me with a silver cross of merit in the Order of the Netherlands Y La Hispanidad. This medal distinguishes personalities with remarkable merits in the cultural, artistic and social domain. I am always interested in new projects, collaborations, freelance work and employment opportunities. Feel free to get in contact with any relevant opportunities or projects you have coming up.
