About me
I'm a digital designer at Wholegrain Digital in London, where I work on designing websites for big brands to make an impact. I am involved from creating the initial brief, to creating a polished design, where I then work together with developers to deliver a final outcome. I love new tools and technology, to push myself in making the best work possible. I focus on the end user. I have worked on a wide range of website and branding projects. To get more experience with working in a team and creating projects with a quick turnaround I regularly attend hackathons or similar events.

    Honey - creating an identity from scratchCreating An Identity From Scratch I helped creating the visual identity of Honey, a new marketing agency, after the name was decided I worked on creating something that is identifiable as honey without the words honey, while keeping a unique and distinctive identity. The process was very intense because there was a lot of engagement with the 5 members of team Honey. branding - logo design - website design _____ The Logo This is the final logo, where the honeycomb can be used separate from the logo as well. The process, I started with digitising my sketches and initial ideas. I then decided on a series of logo's that I felt good about, representing the brand in the right way. The Website After the logo, I created a guide using the Honey identity, this is the proposed online website design.

    Joseph Sutton SolicitorsJoseph Sutton Solicitors In collaboration with Shi Shi Ishi I was responsible for the online presence of Joseph Sutton Solicitors, after creating the visual identity I designed and developed the website and a newsletter campaign. With this project is was important to increase conversions. The website generated an 3x increase in visitors through a better Google ranking and we had 4x lower bouncerate. The newsletter is almost 4x more effective. All About The Details After the website was designed, (using Sketch) we then handcoded the website using Less and Bootstrap, build on top of Underscores. I helped create a Wordpress plugin in PHP (custom posts) and Jquery (slideshow) to make management of the testimonials very easy. The design language of the newsletter was similiar to the website, resulting in fewer bounce rates of visitors clicking a link in the newsletter.

Presenting solutions directly to the clients including sitemaps, user journeys and wireframes. To designing the final outcome. Clients of Wholegrain include Jamie Oliver, Method, Lenovo and Rightmove.

    I started at Shishi Ishi with applying myself in various design projects, like print products, websites, marketing and even public presenting. As we worked on a wide range of projects I had the opportunity to gain a broader sense and basic knowledge about various fields. Which helped me a lot with making the move towards specialising on creating effective apps and websites. We made clients very happy with beautifully designed marketing and branding solutions. I worked with a wide range of clients, including a law firm, various restaurants, a marketing agency, and other multiple other businesses.

    As Graphic Communication is more than Graphic Design the course has taught me to solve and validate problems before coming to a final outcome, not limiting myself to a single outcome. While pursuing this course I learned to apply graphic design in a wider context. Going further than the visual outcome only and learning to have a process driven design process.

    I had access to the newest software and equipment, and got trained by teachers who were certified by Adobe. I learned to work following a creative process, to come up with high quality work in a limited amount of time.
