Screenwriter novelist and film reviewer who loves to write. Completed projects include first in a series of sci-fi novels and three film scripts (historical, Scandi Noir and detective thriller).   • Working in a team within BAs cargo warehouse I break down and build up incoming and outgoing flights cargo both domestic and international.

  • Labourer, Jagers Carpets, Melbourne (AUS) • Working with carpet layers and tradesmen I provided support for them, performing my duties diligently within customer’s homes. • Provided whatever particular service was needed for any given day, this included carrying out deliveries, overseeing upkeep of the shop, or serving customers.



Royal Mail

  • Postman, Royal Mail, Aberdeen • Administered delivery of a section of my postcode six days-a-week. • Sorted up to 500 letters-a-day. • Planned route and bundled bags appropriately ready to be sent out and collected later in the round (not all mail could be carried at once). • Gave a friendly service delivering customers their mail on a walking tour.


Customer Service Assistant

  • Customer Service Assistant, Sainsburys, Aberdeen • Working as part of a department of over 40 people I provided professional customer service on checkouts. • Appointed to work customer service desk. Duties included recording accurately the reason for refunds both on the computer system and in written record of returns, keep lost and found records up-to-date, take charge of store phone, both internal and external calls. • Closed down department every Friday. Responsibilities included removing all cash from tills (24 of them). Working with the duty manager I recorded day’s cash take in cash office.

  • My dissertation was titled 'The Equivocation of the Fiend in Faust and Macbeth' which I received merit for. I also received merits in Writing the City of London 1550', 'An Introduction to Anthropology', and 'History of Western Philosophy'.
